Activity Suggestion #4

March 27, 2020  •  Leave a Comment

This one might be a little tough, but I think it will be good for the soul. We all like to look forward to things. Right? So, I thought a nice way to pass the time would be to create a Summer Bucket List. The last couple years I have shared my list with you, around the first day of summer. I figured I would give you a sneak peek at that list, to hopefully inspire you to start one of your own. If you get around to making one, please feel free to share. I always love to see what fun things people plan for the summer.

1. The 312 River Run - the longest pedestrian riverfront bridge in the city
2. Chicago's Yellow Brick Road - located at Humboldt Boulevard and Wabansia Avenue to honor L. Frank Baum, who wrote “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” while living at 1667 N. Humboldt Blvd. in 1899.
3. Chicago Truborn - located at 1741 W. Chicago Ave., from their homepage, "Established in 2011, Chicago Truborn has supported local, emerging, and established artists for years. Often times referred to as the “anti” gallery, we are dedicated to supporting street/urban/graffiti artists. We think you’ll see and feel the difference the moment you walk in." Admission is FREE!
